Avicii broke into the EDM scene at a very young age and was the case into the music business without any knowledge of what he would have to do to sustain a career. Avicii was a highly sensitive artist with a deep passion for music. He was an introspective person and in the last few years, after multiple health scares, he sought spiritual answers for the meaning of life. Some say Avicii committed suicide while some think that his death is riddled with biggest questions. Questions that people have been asking about Chester, Chris, and other prolific musicians who are “up and committing suicide” during spiritual crossroads. “Our beloved Tim was a seeker, a fragile artistic soul searching for answers to existential questions,” Bergling’s family said. “An over-achieving perfectionist who traveled and worked hard at a pace that led to extreme stress.”

Rolling Stone Magazine said:

Tim Bergling, the Swedish DJ-producer who performed as Avicii, died of an apparent suicide. Bergling’s family shared a statement about the musician’s death, saying, “He really struggled with thoughts about meaning, life, happiness. He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace.”

We believe that Avicii might have been looking for peace. With his hectic life, constant touring, and lack of support from his management to leave music who would blame the man for wanting peace. Bergling was at the forefront of the EDM movement that began to dominate the pop landscape in the early 2010s. His 2011 track, “Levels” – which featured a sample of Etta James’ “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” – became a crossover smash that topped the charts in dozens of countries. In 2013, he partnered with soul singer Aloe Blacc for “Wake Me Up,” a track that blended EDM and country, and peaked at Number Four on the Hot 100.

While none of us will ever know what really happened to Avicii we can all agree that he was a kind soul and was not ready to take on the music industry. What do you believe really happened to him? Why do you feel he left this world behind after spending a few years getting his health on track and looking to spiritual paths for peace, inner love, and clarity?
